Hi,

I am getting an "Error 403 Forbidden" error when I push traces directly to the Instana backend from my OTel agent.

OTLP Endpoint: https://otlp-blue-cucumber.instana.io:4318/v1/traces

I have passed the header,

 x-instana-key:"agent-key"

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi,

The OTLP endpoint is incorrect, we don't have that one in our list, you need to confirm the correct endpoint in your SaaS Instana environment because if not, you receive that message, more information can be found here:
