    I highly recommend you read the AIX Tuning for Oracle Databases Redbook. It has been posted on this forum by me and others multiple times. But here are the docs. One is older but still has good info.
    Keep them close on hand for future reference.

    I can only post one at the time so I'll send them in 2 posts.
