  • 1.  Optimal scaling in version 27?

    I would like to run multiple correspondence analysis and categorical regression. However, in my version (27) I cannot find "Analyze > Dimension Reduction > Optimal Scaling..." or "Analyze > Regression > Optimal Scaling (CATREG)...". Is there a different procedure for running these analyses in version 27?

    Update: I've also tried these same procedures in version 24. However, no option is available for Optimal Scaling. Is this instead a licensing issue?

    Support Member​ In SPSS Statistics the command is found under the same toolbar.

    "Analyze > Dimension Reduction > Optimal Scaling.

    You need the Categories option to enable this. You would need either SPSS Statistics Professional or SPSS Statistics Premium to enable this.
