openshift demo - got access to openshift hosted on the community cloud, how long will it last?

    Hi there!

I got access to the openshift hosted on the linuxone openshift community cloud, I'm building a demo for an event my company is doing and I would like to use this openshift install, two questions:

    1) how long will my access last?

    2) can I get an operator installed? specifically I'd like to showcase argocd.

the idea of the demo is that you can use argocd to manage deployments and ideally this could be done across multiple clusters from the same git repo.

I'm open to ideas and suggestions if anyone has some to provide.

    thanks in advance!

    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

It's a shared cluster. Your access will expire in 7 days by default. But you can extend another 7 days before it expires.  After that, your access will be deleted. If you to access it again, you can request a new access entitlement on the registration page.

As for the argocd,  since it's a shared cluster, we don't allow user to install cluster wide operators.  We have installed the gitops operato in the cluster.  So, you can use it directly.
