Would anyone happen to have any experience using OpenRDA in conjunction with DSTX 6.7.1?
    Thank you.

Never used the product. Normally you must configure a file called odbc.ini. You would need to have the ODBC client libraies in the Event Server user's path.

Can you connect via the native client from the ../mercator/bin directory while logged in as the Event Server user?

Only UNIX ODBC client I have used is Data Direct's. It comes free with DS TX 8.0

One particular stumbling block was the fact that an alias was defined for the the SQL Server database in the OpenRDA Server configuration. That meant that I had to use different values for the Runtime Data Source in the .mdq file when I ran the map on the server as opposed to running it in the Map Designer.
