    Hello @frason francis 
              You can just apply for a financial aid in coursera on any course you want to learn . You have to answer some question regarding the financial aid and it will take 15 days to process the request and the course will be yours .

    Hi @frason francis, I don't know why you are asking specifically for edX but to inform you IBM has same course material which is distributed over different platforms. so If you do a course say IBM data science whether its on Coursera, edx or Big university .. the cousrera is same only the certificate will be different.
