I have HL7 v2.5.1 data coming to our interface. I have to transform this HL7 data to XML structure.

In WTX map, when validating the input, I am seeing an issue with occurence.

The occurences are delimited by "~". In the data, for example: patient facility element has multiple occurrences.I am  getting empty content in first occurence, but data in second occurence. This is giving me message

occurrence 1 is optional and has no content.
The map is not readign the second occurence. It is trying to read next component.

Can you guys pls help me on this.

If you could post your map source, tree(s) and data we might be able to offer a suggestion.  Another option would be to open a PMR.  What version of WTX are you encountering this issue with?

Also as Tim suggested you could open a PMR as well for it to be reviewed further.
