I running Amos software and doing confirmatory factor analysis. I got the message such as the variable ICT use 1 is represented by a rectangle in the path diagram but it is not an observed variable. Why is it ?

It seems like the observed variable names in your underlying data file do not match the variable names you have specified in your path diagram. For example, is the problem field above "ICT use 1"? In an IBM SPSS Statistics system file (*.sav), that would not be a valid variable name. Spaces are not allowed.

Please check the variable names in the data against the names you've specified in your path diagram. You can do this through the "View -> Variables in the Dataset" menu.
