null exception while changing output control to textinput

    hi guys

    i’m trying to change text output control to text input so that i want to edit the value but im getting a null exception while i hit refresh.

    but if i change back the control to text output i’m geting the result but i will not be able to edit the value.

    please see the below screen for the error and portlet view
