The notification services can be invoked by clicking on the PopIt button .

Because Email notification may cause a lot of traffic on the server (and probably
cause down times) the notifcation functionality is restricted.

The following notification options can be selected:

• Notification via “MyPop” can be used without any restriction;
  
• E-mail digests can be requested up to “one per day”;
  
• Immediate Email notifcation can be requested for those topics you have added
  or you have contributed to;
  
• Immediate Email notification can be requested for the following forums:
  
  
  
  • Announcements,
    
  • W3C XQuery News.
    
  
  
  

Please use the notification options in a reasonable way to avoid bad response times.
