    11.1.6

    How can I add information from a table (respectively from a column) to a dashboard which is not joined to any other table in the data model?
    Background:

    We have a table with just one column and only one record, containing some trademark information. Ho can I add this info to the dashboard? 
    Actually CA 'says' that this table is not joined ...

     I got a hint from Brennan Fox  "creating a separate 'Widget connection' for your visualization " that did the job,
