    How does ILMT treat the non IBM Software that may exist on a server alongside an IBM component ?  Does it ignore it ? Does the ILMT Agent even know the non IBM software is running ? We don't want ILMT to have access to that external software but we're not sure how you actually prevent that. Thanks.

    Hello Tony,

    ILMT scanner searches through all the files existing on the file system.
    But it only collects information about those which have some particular name, extensions, file size or software identification tags that are delivered with
    software products.
    All non-IBM Software tags are being discarded and are not reported to ILMT.
    No manual steps are required, it's fully automated process.
