    You have to tell NIM about the new Network you trying to access. You need to do following:
    smitty nim_admin
    -> manage networks
    -> define a network
    -> choose you Network Type
    And enter all the fields needed (marked with *) and the default gateway for this Network.
    After that F3 back to
    -> Manage Network Install Routing
    and check on change/show... if your new Network has a gateway, if not define it there.
    Then all should work for the new network. Remember to do that again each time you access with nim a new Network.
