    Currently I always have to NFS mount the fileset repository manually so that I can execute smitty lang in that respository folder. I was hoping there was a more straightforward way of doing this...

    You should be able to define a installp_bundle with the locale filesets, allocate the resource to the server and perform either a maint (perform software maintenance) or cust (perform software customization) on the server to install the bundle.
