    When performing a NIM bos_inst install from a mksysb image (and asssociated SPOT resource) taken from another platform, be carfull of LHEA adapters. I battled for 12 hours attempting to debug and fix source of resultant kernel load hang. When I swithched to virtual ethernet (inter-partition)the kernel loaded and the install completed.
