I have been conducting several enrollments and experienced 2 issues since the recent update to the iOS MaaS360 app. Curious to see if anyone else is seeing this.
I am enrolling devices connected to the customer's Apple Business Manager with automatic install distributions set in the MaaS dashboard for several apps. All apps other than the MaaS app are installing correctly. These issues are occurring when I am physically holding an iPad AND when I am assisting customers, remotely. I have 500 down and 20 up and good consistent connectivity for my network. Very little stutter or packet loss.
1. The MaaS app installs but when activating it, it hangs after clicking the initial "OK". Eventually it times out and won't activate. Sometimes there is a notification to "Update the App" even though the correct version is being installed initially on the device. Even after updating the app, rebooting etc. the app still hangs. I am wondering if there is an .APK issue with the app installer. This is occurring on devices running iOS 15 and 16.
2. The MaaS app does not install. Sporadically, distribution of all apps appear to work until attempting to open the MaaS360 iOS app for the first time. There is a prompt asking to "Download the app". Even going into the App Catalogue and clicking "get" does not work. The only solution so far is to wipe the device and enroll again.
I have opened a ticket with IBM Support and it looks like they are stymied too. Any comments are appreciated!!!
