Hi all,

I am trying to get the new TM1Val function to work in PAfE 92.

My cube is located on the IBM cloud offering for partners.

A normal DBRW works fine, a TM1Val to the same cell does not work.

Please have a look at the picture in attachment.

I am not sure about the version of TM1 Web in that cloud offering.

The PA version is 2.0.9.15 or 11.8.1700.1 (19/10/2022).

This feature requires Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel 2.0.92 and TM1 Web 2.0.92 to work. You will need to wait until the New Year for PASS 92 on Cloud.

So, to summarize, in the IBM cloud offering:

• both PAW and PASS are updated automatically by IBM following the short cadence ? PAfE also but we need to download it (obviously). PAL follows the long cadence and is only updated through a support ticket by the customer.
• do IBM have an overview somewhere of what version of PASS is offered in the cloud ? There is the Version.txt trick in the local PASS install but for cloud this will not work. For PAW it's easy to check at least.

• On Cloud, we bundle PASS and PA Server together so the customer needs to request the upgrade for these components. Usually we release an IF on cloud that is the same server version but new PASS version (for example, there is a release coming in January I believe that will be 2.0.9.19 with PASS 92)
• This technote is pretty good to show releases of all the components:  https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6519826 . It isn't specific to Cloud though
• The version.txt trick does work on Cloud :-)

Regarding the timeline reference, indeed I had hoped to see one for the Cloud. But this is good enough for now.

You'll have to request IBM update the SW on the BP Servers when available as they aren't updated to the latest version automatically.
