    I am looking for the evaluation/student copy of Websphere commerce V6 or V7 for my self education.

    Take a look at the WebSphere Education Expert Arena for Commerce V7. I think this will provide just what you are looking for. WebSphere Education Expert Arenas provide a remote sandbox environment where you can use a full function version of Commerce V7.
