To be sure that you have completely signed out and exited from IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription (or Trial) please go to https://myibm.ibm.com/dashboard and login with your IBMid.
Find your IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription tile and elect to "Manage" it. From the "Manage" screen, select "Manage devices" from the menu on the left. "Deactivate" any and all devices at this screen.
If it exists, find your IBM SPSS Statistics Trial tile and elect to "Manage" it. From the "Manage" screen, select "Manage devices" from the menu on the left. "Deactivate" any and all devices at this screen.
Now launch IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription on your macOS laptop. Sign in with your IBMid.
If the above steps fail -
Is it possible you registered your Trial application under on IBMid and your Subscription application under a separate IBMid?
Beyond this, any further efforts will require exchanging your personally identifying information. That's not something to be done in this forum.

Hello, I'm a student using IBM SPSS Statistics Base Subscription. I originally activated my subscription on my Windows desktop, but I want to switch to my Mac (which I used for the free trial previously).
I signed out from Windows, but when I try to log into SPSS on my Mac, I get an error saying the device is already used or ineligible.
Can someone from IBM help me reset my Mac device ID or unlink it from the old trial so I can activate the subscription on it instead?
