Hi,

I have installed my webMethods server and console(s). After I startup the portal server, I am getting the attached messages on the console which suggest the server is up and running. But when I go to access the url (http://host:8080) , I am getting page not found. Any body have an idea what I am missing ?

We are running WM 6.5.1 on Linux

Check if the portal is listening on port 8080. Next check your browser settings or Is there any firewall settings which is restricting the access.

It happened to us in past.

Thanks Prashanth. The problem was as discussed in one of the other threads in the forum, I have my host name in /etc/hosts file mapped to 127.0.0.1. So, I removed the hostname from the hosts file and that worked.
