My SPSS (Version 27) keeps crashing whenever I try to run the case control matching syntax (FUZZY). Can anybody help me run this without SPSS crashing.

    My syntax:

    FUZZY BY=geslacht Opleiding_cat_3 leeftijdsgroep SUPPLIERID=RESP_NR NEWDEMANDERIDVARS=MatchID

    GROUP=Groep FUZZ=0 0 0 EXACTPRIORITY=FALSE

    MATCHGROUPVAR=MatchGroep DS3=Matchetd_Eigen_Data

    /OPTIONS SAMPLEWITHREPLACEMENT=FALSE MINIMIZEMEMORY=TRUE SHUFFLE=FALSE.

    Please explain exactly what you see when you have a problem running FUZZY.

    I fill in this syntax and click run. And all SPSS windows sort off zap away. After that I get an automated message saying that SPSS stopped unexpectedly and that I can send them a report.

    Can you send me the data so I can try it (jkpeckSupport Member)? I haven't seen a crash before using FUZZY. What version of Statistics are you using and on what platform?
