Hey Eugene,
It's great to hear your compliments and use cases. The idea of checking reports into GitHub for version control was unexpected but totally makes sense. I'm excited to share it with our other customers!
To export/import a single report, simply make sure that only that report is present within a designated collection.
Unfortunately, we won't have APIs until 2025. We're currently looking into some use cases, like creating and modiyfing reports, sharing reports, subscribing users to reports, and more.
Thanks,
Curtis

Subject: My compliments to the chef for cooking up a couple of recent great features (Run & Export)
I just want to express my pleasure at a couple of recent BI feature releases that are relatively small but really helpful. Kudos!
The "Run" button in the widget editor - I click away rapidly and madly at many widgets per day; I'll often create throw-aways in lieu of True Cost Explorer, and a half-dozen ad hoc graphs during a meeting to illustrate the discussion. Having that auto-query on every click really bogged down my session and my progress, and wasted attendees' time waiting for refreshes to complete. I can now get widgets set up so much faster and show meaningful data without awkward pauses.
The "Export" function in Collections (would love to see this per-report, too!) now lets me:
- Check reports into GitHub for version control
- ... and "import" provides rudimentary backup/restore as well
- Diff a current report against a previous saved version to help troubleshoot unexpected results and user confusion
- Run text-based searches in bulk looking for reports dependent on specific Views, Business Mappings, Tags, etc.
So... when can we export/import individual reports via API? ;-)
