I have executed the script by using the database configrator, tables are looking good in data base.

while starting the MWS, its trowing an exception and gets down immediately, i have given the same connection parametes for both.

Is there any differance between 7.1.2 and 8 ?

Let me know the solution how to resolve the issue.

The error indicates, ‘invalid database schema’…

Look for mws.db.xml file and see if the db information provided there matches with the db details that you used in database configurator wizard while creating tables…

U may check the JDBC Pools from IS Admin page. Meanwhile verify the Central Users Pool association to the MWS db schema.

I am able to creat the JDBC Adapter Connections sucessfully by using the same schema,but MWS is not recognizing the valid schema.

I have given the same url path and database(oracle 10 xe) schema for 7.1.2 and i didn’t get any issues.

Is there any other configurations needed ?

Is it a fresh installation? seen like reinstalling MWS will resolve the problem.

Beside that, have u try to install a new server instance pointing to new db? the step as below:

• install a new server instance
• cd to mws\bin directory, run the command:
  mws.bat - s getconfig cluster.xml
• This will download the file to Mws\server<instancename>\config directory.
• modify the cluster.xml and change the node name. you can get the node name from the server.properties.bat file.
• cd to msn\bin directory and run the command:
  mws.bat -s putconfig cluster.xml
• delete the cluster.xml from the config directory.
• start the MWS

We are getting the same error? How did u resolve this situation?

I am getting the same errors as well trying to rebuild a MWS instance. Any ideas how to fix this?

Issue was due to database corruption. We restored the database from previous daily backup. This was also suggested by SoftwareAg folks. If no backup you would have to first reinitialize DB through DB config and reinstall MWS if the DB refresh doesn’t work.
