    AIX - On AIX systems you may run into the following multicast issues:

    Virtual IP (VIPA) - AIX does not support multicast with VIPA. If using VIPA either bind multicast to a non-VIPA device, or run Coherence with multicast disabled. See well-known-addresses for details.

    My customer would like to use Virtual ethernet switch (implement by hypervisor) on Power server, and they ask if multicast can be supported by internal virtual switch as same of physical network switch?

    From google search, just saw the statement what I post, would like to confirm is it support multicast or not ?
