In MQ 9.2.3, we started seeing problems when MQ Subs are created for a target ALIAS queue. The final target queue is a cluster queue on another queue manager.

Example:

QM1 -> DEFINE SUB -> Destination ( ALIAS Queue) -> Alias Queue -> Local Cluster queue on another queue manager.

Alias queue is not in cluster. It is marked as Not-Fixed for bindings.

This was working as expected until 9.2.2

Are other seeing similar issue?
Is there an undocumented change pushed into MQ 9.2.3?

We are aware of an issue in MQ 9.2.3 with subscriptions that use alias queues as their destination. Please could you raise a ticket and the MQ support team will to confirm if it is the same issue you are seeing, and with a fix and/or possible work arounds.

We have a case open with IBM. Wanted to learn if other customers are facing similar issue.

There is a work-around, but that is failing our pipeline.
We are waiting for a fixpac  and take the upgrade forward

We also noticed 3.9.4 CD released, but we won;t move forward until we learn about the resolution for the case we have opened.
