Hi there,
I am working with a third party company who has an MQ site and am trying to setup an internet connection and am using the IBM MQ Explorer to troubleshoot.
After adding the settings and trying to test the connection am getting the following error:
Could not establish a connection to the queue manager - reason 2009. (AMQ4059) Severity: 10 (Warning) Explanation: The attempt to connect to the queue manager failed. This could be because the queue manager is incorrectly configured to allow a connection from this system, or the connection has been broken. Response: Try the operation again. If the error persists, examine the problem determination information to see if any information has been recorded. In terms of trying to resolve, third party checked and confirmed the following:
1) Network layer is fine based on telnet and tracert checks
2) Queue manager is being correctly targeted
Any suggestion on which area can be explored to troubleshoot on what may be causing the error?
Thanks,
Shaun
