I need to read the data (JFS) but we dont have another AIX machine ?

Can the disk be mounted on a Linux machine?

    When I type: fdisk /dev/sdc
"There is a valid AIX label on this disk
Unfortunately Linux cannot handle these disks at the moment...."

Do I have some hope ?

    Thank you!

Your best best is to find someone with an AIX machine, and use that machine to get the data off.
