Hello all,

I'm a developer at a Michigan utilities company called DTE Energy and we are using WBE on WAS and are having issues where our topics fill and crash, we then have to restart WAS to get things running again.

Myself and my company being new to these products and issues are attempting to implement monitoring to debug what exactly is happening when this problem occurs. We want to start at monitoring the topic.


To my point, I can't seem to discover a WAS solution to alerting a user group when a topic hits the threshold of its maximum depth. Is this something can be done using PMI/TPV? Or has anyone done such monitoring and alerts with a third party product?

It seems an out of memory issues or something in JVM itself so you can monitor your OS in case of any log files created due to this out of memory issue then you can analyse this using ISA tool, there is a course for problem determination for WebSphere App Server in case you want to get more info on how to troubleshoot your app server.
