Modifying the attribute mapping used by ISIM

    Hi friends,
I'd like to ask your help about an adapter customization. We are interested in changing the attribute mapping used by ISIM as UID, working with an adapter based on IDI (Documentum). For ISIM erUID=User Name in Documentum, ie. First name and Surname (I' sure you are with me that it makes no sense)

After opening a PMR, the summary is: "it is working as designed due to "user_name is unique attribute" (http://www.dms.gov.mk/da/help/en/default.htm?startat=help_da_users_modifying.htm) ",

Thus: "You would need to find the erUID mapping on the TDI Assemblyline and map the erUID there to user_OS_name and also the service profile mappings will need to be changed (service and schema definitions).",

As conclusion, the attribute mapping option you can find in the "Manage Entities" menu is usless, or at least, it is usless working with adapter based on IDI.

Although it is not the best approach, I think there is no other way.

Someone with any expertize? Any document to be consulted?
