    IBM announces IBM Db2 DevOps Experience for z/OS

    October 8th,  IBM announced DB2 DevOPs Experience for z/OS. IBM Db2 DevOps Experience helps bring Db2 applications to market faster with lower costs and less risk.  This collaborative offering can help:

      • Respond quickly to competitive and customer needs with faster delivery of new or changed Db2 applications
      • Enable the Db2 DBA to set criteria so application development can create their own Db2z application environments.  DBA retains control and approval of changes for Db2 databases.
      • Allow application development ability to create, test, and delete Db2z application environments without DBA assistance and time. App Dev can work in teams using more modern agile development methods.
