Missing tools with Postgresql

    Hi,

    customer plans to move to Postgresql as the CPE/PE database. PE is heavily used.

    The compatibility matrix mentiones a few restrictions that kinda look prohibitive to me.

    1. Non-critical: Region move tool is not supported
    2. Critical: DBExecute and PElog are not supported. 

    I opened a ticket with IBM and the answer was (drastically shortened) that if you need these tools than do not migrate. This is difficult to accept for me.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. How are other customers and IBM partners handling this situation?
    2. Are there any plan to remove that restriction?

    It looks to me as if PE+Postgresql is not a desired combination by IBM...
