It is very strange that Factor analysis menu dialog Rotation misses an option (a checkbox) to use or not use Kaiser normalization at the rotation. Currently, that is available to specify only through syntax. The feature is quite important to be brought up onto the menu.

There is no consensus in literature whether Kaiser normalization should be used and when; and different software differ greatly in how they treat the option. SPSS always done the normalization by default, but many other programs don't do it by default or do it by default only with Varimax.

So create a checkbox, for users to be able to decide.
