Hello Hashem,
if you mean with migration that you go from Spectrum Protect to Data Protect (Cohesity), these are two very different products and technologies so in this scenario you will not be able to move backup copies from one product to the other. However the licenses are shared between both products and you can implement data protect and run it side by side with storage protect and start moving workloads from SP to DP and just leave old data to expire on SP. This way you do not have much (if any) extra license cost and also no time pressure for the migration.
If you mean going from Spectrum Protect to Defender Storage Protect, then just is just a different name for the same product with a different license model and you will not have to do anything at a technology level and can continue to run as how you run today.

Subject: Migration IBM Spectrum Protect to IBM defender
Hi folks,
From your experience, anyone has an idea if I can migrate my backup copies taken by IBM Spectrum Protect to IBM defender?
If not, how can I keep My ISP copies as per company retention policy ?
