Hi. We are documenting our migration strategies between stages (eg. Dev, Test and Prod). What is the recommended approach for migrating 6+ adapters ? I know the approach for pre-version 6 IS packages and Enterprise Adapters/Integration components, but wondered if there is a best practise for migrating the 6+ packages AND adapters…

We are thinking that the packages will be migrated (as usual)…and these packages will include the adapter (instance) connection services and corresponding java/flow services. After migration (eg. from Dev to Test) the connection information for the adapter would be update (by the Admin/Support personnel) to “point” to the Test resource (eg. database).

Any thoughts ?
