Migrate to PowerHA 6.1 or not?

I've been reading some comments on another PowerHA board about issues with PowerHA SP4/SP5. We were contemplating migrating to PowerHA 6.1 from PowerHA 5.5 (which has been pretty stable). Our environment consists of three one-to-one clusters, btw.

As a general policy, we have been making reasonable attempts at having our System P/AIX environments fairly up-to-date re: service packs, firmware, et al - so the migration towards PowerHA 6.1 wasn't oriented towards any add'l functionality. So, would common sense suggest we just upgrade out PowerHA environments to a newer service pack (e.g. SP8) or migrate to PowerHA 6.1?

    Regards, Paul

PowerHA 6.1 SP4 indeed had some issues, mainly:
    - IZ93613 RELEASE_VG_FS SYNTAX ERROR PREVENTS UNMOUNTING OF FILESYSTEMS
    - and some other issues in CSPOC while manipulating shared Filsystems & LVM
All these issues however have been addressed and solved by SP5.

    Thanks.
