  • 1.  migrate from webmethods 6.5 to 9.6

We are planning to migrate from webMethods 6.5 to 9.6 and would like to know the best approach for this .
We would need to migrate model, packages and trading partner profiles.

I understand the webMethods 9.6 have one of the new feature as Multi-instance Integration Server: The Integration Server now allows you to configure multiple instances within the same installation.

    • Does this means that we can have multiple instances with different certificates say one with SHAI and another with SHA2?

    • Does webMethods 9.6 supports SHA2 for Rosettanet module?

    • Could you check and get back to us with the best approach of migrating from webMethods 6.5 to 9.6?

    Hi Anju,

there is no direct upgrade path from 6.5 to 9.6.

You will have to do at least 2 migrations:

    • 6.5 to 8.2.x
    • 8.2.x to 9.6

The best way is to contact SAG Consulting and ask for migration support.

    Regards,
    Holger
