Hi Folks,
i've been asked to find ways for MFA for the ISIM account. As far as i understand, ISIM 6 directly does not support this. ISAM allows MFA, but can it protect also the ISIM Account? Does anyone know?

Are there other tools which allows MFA for ISIM 6?

Hi Silvano,

Out of the box, ISIM doesn't not have MFA.  But, as you said above, ISAM supports MFA and ISAM can be used for Single Sign-On into ISIM (thus protecting ISIM Authentication with MFA).  IBM Security Verify (formerly IBM Cloud Identity) could also be used for SAML Auth to ISIM 6 (although the steps for this haven't been published yet).   Alternatively, you could write a custom authenticator for ISIM and build in your own MFA there.  Examples for custom Authentication are in $ISIM_HOME/extensions/6.0/examples/authentication/
