Message handlers getting disabled in MQ3 frequently

  • 1.  Message handlers getting disabled in MQ3 frequently

    Hi All

    We are using MQ 3.

    The message handlers we use are getting disabled frequently,we have no clue as to why this is happening and things function normally as soon as they are enabled again.

    Please comment if you have experienced this before.

    Hi Mani,

    can you provide us with the current installed SP/Fix Level for your MQ Adapter?
    Please add the IS Version and the SP/FP/Fix-Levels for IS as well.

    Maybe you want to check the “Fixes to known issues”-section here on Advantage, if there is already a fix for your issue.

    Hi Holger

    The following are the fixes SP/Fixes we have
    IS_6-0-1_SP2_Fix70
    IS_6-0-1_SP2_Fix86
    IS_6-0-1_SP2
    IS_6-0-1_Fix63

    The issue does not feature in the “Fixes to known issues” section.

    This has become a serious issue now as the handlers are getting disabled very frequently.

    Hi Mani,

    according to the subject I assume you are using wM WebSphere MQ Adapter 3.0.

    What is the Fix Level for your MQ Adapter?
    From my Knowledge the latest available Fixes for MQ Adapter 3.0 is as follows:

    MQ Adapter 3.0 SP3 & Fix6 thru Fix15 (which all require the SP3).

    If updating the adapter and/or IS doesn�t help you should consider upgrading to IS 6.1 SP1 and wM Websphere MQ Adapter 6.0 SP 1 Fix20.

    Additionally you can try to get this issue solved by posting an SR to webMethods Support.
