I have by a mistake added new index space. I should have expanded the existing index space in stead. So I have now two index files (AAB00001.1I0 and AAB00002.1I0). How do I merge the two index files into one?

why merge? There is no real reason for a merge, Tamino does not care if it is one or multiple files. I would leave it as it is.

I have never merged myself, so I do not know the exact answer, but an easy but very raw method I could think of would be

1. backup
2. create new DB from backup
3. done (maybe renaming necessary, delete of old DB)

BTW, default setting of Tamino should be “AUTO expand”, so the database files should grow automatically!
