    A client of ours uses Mercserv71 to execute their maps from within Tuxedo.
    Now I was wondering how database connections are handled in mercserv71.
    E.g. a map has a database lookup. When tuxedo executes the map that is referenced in mercserv, that map initiates a database connection in order to perform that particular lookup.
    What happens to that connection when the lookup has completed? Is it terminated, is it reusable, is it still open, is it open but unusable?

    Can anyone please help me with mercserv information.
