    Posted Tue July 15, 2025 10:55 AM

Moshe Cohen and I will be the product managers in the IBM team at INCOSE IS in Ottawa the last week of July. We especially are looking forward to meeting with ELM and Rhapsody users and business partners as well as attending at least some of the many promising sessions about AI in Engineering, SysML v2, and product line engineering. We'd like to meet with you if you're going to be there. Look for us around the IBM booth in the expo hall, or contact us directly. Or leave a comment here!

Following up on Daniel's message above...

We indeed had an excellent experience at the INCOSE 2025 Systems Engineering conference in Ottawa, connecting with ~900 in-person attendees and ~150 remote participants, primarily from aerospace/defense and automotive industries.

It was wonderful to meet many of you, both current users and organizations considering embracing SysML v1 MBSE and/or transitioning to SysML v2. We also had several discussions about your digital transformation initiatives and plans for improving your development processes, which we find very important and valuable. The conference presentations focused primarily on SysML v2 and AI integration, which is aligned with the challenges we're hearing from the systems engineering community.

Our development team's video demo drew strong engagement, with great feedback on our "clean & slick" UI and recognition of the significant progress we've made since the last INCOSE conference in late 2024.The conference reinforced our understanding of the Systems Engineering community needs and highlighted some areas where we can better serve your evolving requirements. As several attendees noted, IBM has extended its role as a major player in the Systems Engineering space with its modern SysML v2 solution, offering an open and extensible platform, as demonstrated by Siemens in their presentations.

Looking ahead, we're excited to continue these conversations and learn more about your specific challenges at the upcoming regional INCOSE conferences. While we hope to see you there, we will also be very happy to talk to each one of you on a one-on-one basis, just reach out to me.
