Facing here some Migrations from Maximo 7 to Maximo 8 we like to integrate Maximo with Cognos.

Does there is a newer documentation available?
Does the parameter passing (the where statement) to Cognos reports works like in Maximo 7? (It didn't work here when I played with it.)
How about creating cognos packages from Maximo object structures?

1 - Does there is a newer documentation available?

The latest documentation for the Maximo Manage Integration to Cognos for MAS from IBM is

2 - Does the parameter passing (the where statement) to Cognos reports works like in Maximo 7? (It didn't work here when I played with it.)

The documentation notes here that these are the delivered features for the Maximo Manage Cognos Integration including

'....enables features including (1) enabling your authorized users to access Cognos Analytics reporting, (2) synchronization of the Maximo Application Suite security groups to Cognos Analytics, and (3) publishing of Maximo Application Suite object structures as Cognos metadata packages'

The 'launch in context' - or passing of the Maximo where clause to the Cognos report - does not appear to be available.  

3 - How about creating cognos packages from Maximo object structures?
