    there seems to be some inconsitency...

    Running Transaction Check
    ERROR with transaction check vs depsolve:
    mariadb-connector-c-config <= 3.1.4 is obsoleted by (installed) mysql-config-1.0-1.noarch
    Please report this error in http://yum.baseurl.org/report
    You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
    Your transaction was saved, rerun it with: yum load-transaction /tmp/yum_save_tx-2020-06-25-10-10oE5X0C.yumtx

    mariadb-connector-c-config rpm  is now obsoleted by mysql-config rpm. 
    If you have the former one , please update to mysql-config.
