    Hi,

I'm building a map based on the Delivery Confirmation v4 message in our Tradacoms industry pack. I'm trying to set up a simple validation map to check data etc but every file I load in fails with the following message:

Input valid but unknown data found

    Input: 1 of 1
    Objects: 22

    Output: 1 of 1
    Objects: 1

I've gone through the sample files I have and all come up with the same message. Looking at the tarce file there are a number of 'invalid' messages but none that specifically point me to what is invalid on the file. The file is valid so I think the type tree is incorrect but I don't know what needs to be corrected.

My trace file is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I am not familiar with that pack. If you look at the trace, the error is at offset 88.

If you post your map (including the type tree and source file) perhaps someone can figure out the problem.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but how do you know the error is at offset 88? There are many 'invalid' messages in the trace file so how have you pinpointed the error to this one?

    Thanks.

For more information about reading the trace file you should look at the IBM Websphere Transformation Extender 8.2 Redbook: http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg247693.pdf.

Is there anything when runningin Datapower that would cause an error such as reserved characters?
