I'm having an issue with trying to build a map. I'm getting the following error message:

    M101 ERROR:
    Map: TestMap
    Unresolved rules exist.
Total errors: 1. Total warnings: 0.

This isn't very specific and was wondering where the problem would lie.

in the bottom right hand corner of the Eclipse map editor is a panel - one of the tabs is called "Unresolved Rules". Either drag the rules from here back to their correct locations in the map or delete them.

    Thanks for the reply.

I opened up the Unresolved Rules view. After I build the map it obviously still says I have unresolved rules but when looking in the Unresolved Rules view there's nothing there.

the error says that the unresolved rules are in map "TestMap" - have you checked that one?

Alternatively zip up the trees and map source and post the to the forum.

I'm afraid I can't post the files online, company policy :)

    Thanks again.

Functional maps are called from the executable map and are usually used to handle repeating objects (e.g. records).

it sounds like you don't have any functional maps, just an executable map.

In that case, I can't help you.

Anyways, thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
