  • 1.  lsof doesn't work on aix 7.2

    lsof is now completely limited to AIX expansion pack which has defect support. If you have support agreement with IBM, you can open a PMR.

    Thanks for your reply, I have already raised a case with IBM, and they updated me its an open source and not supported by IBM. They only gave this website link to me and asked to raise my issue here.

     

    IBM Reply : Unfortunately the lsof command is an open source in which we do not have support for.

    lsof version 4.89 for AIX 7.2 TL-1 and above
    lsof_4.89_aix72.tar  (870400)

     

    [root@host] /admin/COB/bin> lsof -Di /globus/onetis/bnk/bnk.data/ac/FLON.STMT000
    COMMAND      PID USER   FD   TYPE DEVICE   SIZE/OFF    NODE NAME
    cp      54788472 root    4w  VREG   36,1 3328311296 3813874 /globus/onetis/bnk/bnk.data/ac/FLON.STMT000
    [root@host] /> oslevel -s
    7200-02-01-1731
