Hello Experts,
I have an AIX LPAR running with 5.3TL12 on a P7 frame. The frame had a hardware issue and IBM had replaced IO backplane. After that incident the DB2 backup is taking 30% more time than it was taking before. whenever the incremental and full backup starts the process LRUD becomes very much active and takes a lot of CPU cycles. The LPAR had 130GB RAM initially and later we increased it to 160GB but still no improvements in the performance. No swap space utilization is noticed.
Could anybody explain why LRUD is active when I have a lot of free memory available in the system?
