    Hi,

    please,

We have two Power9 E980 and we want to tranfer all lpars from one server to another by LPM.

My question is, will LPM transfer lpar by lpar or can it transfer all at once.

The goal is to reduce the duration of transfer

    Thanks

    Dear Abdwlkrin

There was concurrent partition mobility that came out in May 2019 and here is its basic information.

Please Google with "ibm concurrent partition mobility" for more information.

I just find this URL that gives specific info for POWER9 partition mobility :  https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/power9?topic=mobility-firmware-support-matrix-partition.

This article also discusses network performance aspect that supports concurrent LPM :  Network Performance Recommendations for Live Partition Mobility By Jose Ortega / April 30, 2020 at  https://techchannel.com/SMB/04/2020/network-performance-lpm
