I'm kind of dizzy because I can't find such option in VIOS properties tab. There is option to add CPU, MEM, Physical I/O. Under Virtual I/O tab, only a SR/IOV adapter can be added.

I'm thinking that you didn't add functionality for adding virtual adapters because you don't want users to do it anymore. You expect that everything regarding SEA and NPIV will be handled by the Enhanced GUI. Am I correct?

If you'd like to see what slot IDs were used for the virtual I/O adapters, here's some info -> https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/POWER8/p8efd/p8efd_managing_virt_storage_concept.htm
