    Hello,

    Can someone point me to the manuals/doc/white papers for WebSeal ISAM V9 best practices?

    I' m preparing to review our Webseal V9 installation for industry standards and need the doc.

    Searching CIS (computer information security) sites didn't produce anything for WebSeal.

    Any reference is appreciated. Thanks, Linda

    Hello,

    The scope of your question is very broad. There is no general set list of best practices.

    Please do however keep in mind that the end of support date for V9 has been announced:

    With that in mind a general a best practice for V9 is to update to the current firmware level, ISVA 10

    Thank you for the link to the lifecycle. I see there's no V10 for this product, and the EOS date for V9 is 2022. Is there a replacement product for V9, since the V10 version isn't listed on the lifecycle page?

    Can you provide a link to the PDF version of the manuals? I'm unable to locate them.

    I have a couple of V8 manuals, and need to compare them to the V9 (and assumedly the V10 pdf) to build my list of best practices building on what we have in V8.

    Under the Replacement information section of the EOS it does list the replacement for ISAM is ISVA. The product was just renamed:

    IBM Security Access Manager Virtual Edition 5725-V90 IBM Security Verify Access 5725-V90


    You can find IBM Security Verify Access on passport advantage and FixCentral.
